Who are we?Stutvoet and Vandenbulcke Engineering Consultants is a small, independent consultancy that provides advice and technical support in the field of dimensioning, control and protection of generators, large motors and industrial electrical power distribution networks.

Why choosing SVRI?What are our specializations?We are specialized in protection and control of generators and synchronous motors. Examples are synchronization systems, automatic voltage regulators (AVR's) and specific protective functions like reverse power (32), loss of field (40), negative sequence current (46), generator differential (87G), stator earth fault (64S, 51N, 59N) and rotor earth fault (64F). We are also specialized in power system analysis (short circuit and load flow calculations) and in industrial electrical power distribution network protection. Our services are not only for new installations, but also for extensions of existing installations.How can we support you?We can provide the following services:- Consultation (trouble-shooting, brainstorming, etc.) - Studies and Technical Support (basic design, technical specifications, etc.) - Power System Analysis (short circuit / load flow calculations, motor start simulations) - Setting Studies (selectivity, time/current coordination, generator protective relays, AVR’s)
More services...We are distributor of SKM Systems Analysis in the Netherlands. SKM designs and improves electrical engineering software for load flow calculations, short circuit calculations, time/current coordination, motor start simulations, etc.

More training courses...Who are our customers?Our customers are mainly industrial end-users, producers (OEMs) and contractors. Our services are worldwide, but our customers are mainly settled in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg (Benelux).We mainly support electrical engineers, project managers, commissioning engineers and maintenance engineers. Besides that we can present your ideas clear to engineers from different disciplines or to your management. Why choosing SVRI?We do not exactly know. Only our customers can answer this question frankly. Anyway we started SVRI, because we established a demand to high quality, sometimes urgently required electrotechnical knowledge. This knowledge is available elsewhere in the Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) of course, but not fast, flexible and customized.More information
